About Hoosier Egg Fest & Food Festival

Hoosier Egg Fest is a celebration of food, family, fun and community involvement. The Big Green Egg Grill, Smoker and Brick Oven can do it all and Egg Fest gives patrons the chance to sample many different foods all made on the Big Green Egg. While sampling all of these amazing foods patrons have the chance to award tip money for their favorite dishes made by each individual team. The maximum number of teams is 25 per Egg Fest.

When tipping each team this does two things. The team with the most tip money raised is awarded Hoosier Egg Fest Champion. More importantly 100% of the tips raised benefit a local charity. There are two EggFest in a calendar year.

The summer Egg Fest which typically takes place the Saturday before Fathers Day benefits the Columbus Fireman's Cheer Fund. The Cheer Fund is Columbus' oldest charity. The main goal of the Cheer Fund is to give children who would not typically receive Christmas presents, a Christmas that they will never forget!

In the fall Hoosier Egg Fest benefits Turning Point Domestic Violence Services. Turning Points mission is to work towards the prevention and elimination of domestic and dating violence.

We love this event to see friends and families from our local communities, state and the country come together to enjoy the absolute best grill creations from the Big Green Egg and our amazing chefs and while doing that raising money for two very appreciative charities who do amazing work!
